QUILTED AND CROCHETED BLANKETS

The hospitals need, on average, about six (6) blankets per quarter for stillborn children and infant loss.

Blankets should be 30" x 30" or smaller, detailed, and of the highest quality. Larger blankets will be put forth for infant loss (passing before first birthday). Blankets should be larger than 12" x 12".

ANGEL POCKETS FOR TINY BABIES

Angel Pockets can be knitted or crocheted. They are perfect for the tiniest of babies, and are best in blue or pink. These precious babies are generally too small for blankets, and offer the families an opportunity to still cradle their babies. Ideally, these pockets will have a fabric lining of sorts so the nurses can slip the tiny baby in without having fingers and arms stuck in the knitting holes.

HATS!!

The hospital loved our last donation of hats! The smaller the better. Here is a link that gives some guidance for knitting tiny ones. Tiny to term is needed.
